MY STORY
A Licensed Professional Here to Guide You
I am a counselor in the Denver metro area, but through the convenience of telehealth, I am able to supports clients throughout Colorado. I received my Masters in Counselor from the University of Colorado in 2014, and have been working in the field of mental health since 2010. I received my Certified Addictions Technician qualification in 2012.
I work with children, individuals, couples, and families. Many of my clients seek services to address anxiety, depression, relational struggles, and low self-esteem. I am particularly passionate about serving survivors of trauma, new parents, couples, and women struggling with issues related to pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders. I also have advanced training in the areas of reactive attachment disorder (RAD), depressive and anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and perinatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).

I often utilize client-centered therapy, attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based psychotherapy, and emotionally focused therapy (EFT). I focus on client strengths to support work in overcoming internal struggles and barriers to living an enriching life. Many clients participate in mindfulness exercises and attachment-based interventions focused on creating new foundations for emotional wellbeing.
My approach supports clients in healing underlying emotional triggers, enhancing interpersonal relationships, and improving overall sense of joy and fulfillment. My professional values include maintaining a compassionate, non-judgmental, and thoughtful interaction style with my clients. When clients first start therapy, I will work to establish a strong relationship and comfortable rapport to allow you to feel safe, valued, and understood.
